Communicatie

Communication is essential for working safely, and Bluetooth hearing protection plays a key role. Our range of headsets is diverse, allowing you to make calls by connecting one or two mobile phones, stream music, listen to FM radio, join walkie-talkie channels, communicate via a Bluetooth intercom connection (up to 4 people), or create unlimited connections through the Mesh intercom network. Additionally, with active listening features, you stay aware of your surroundings. We offer headsets from top brands such as Sena, Hellberg, 3M/Peltor, and Protos BT-Com.

Which Headset Do I Need?
This depends on your needs and how you plan to use the headset.

Do you need a hearing protection headset?
The Sena Cast, Sena Tufftalk M, Sena Tufftalk Lite, Hellberg Local 446, and Hellberg Local 2 offer hearing protection. The Sena SPH-10 and Sena Expand Mesh do not provide hearing protection.

Do you want to connect the headset to your phone?
All Sena headsets can be paired with two phones simultaneously, allowing you to connect both your personal and work phones for calls. The SPH-10 can only be paired with one phone. The Hellberg Local 446 is a two-way radio headset and cannot be paired with a phone. The Hellberg Local 2 headset can be paired with a phone via Bluetooth. Peltor headsets can only be connected to a phone via an aux cable.

Do you want to listen to FM radio directly?
The Sena Tufftalk Lite, Sena Tufftalk M, and Sena Cast all feature direct FM radio.

Will you be using the headset for group communication?
You can choose between a Bluetooth intercom (up to 4 people) or the Mesh system (unlimited number of users). It’s important to know how the group communicates, so check with the people you want to connect with. The Cast is only suitable for the MESH network. The Lite is only for Bluetooth intercom. The Tufftalk M supports both Mesh and Bluetooth networks. Alternatively, you could opt for a BT-Com system from Protos, which is single-sided and does not have stereo sound.

Do you want to connect your own two-way radio to a headset directly?
The Sena Cast has a cable connection for a two-way radio, allowing you to connect your own radio and communicate via the headset with a push-to-talk button.

Do you want to communicate via built-in two-way radio channels?
The Sena Cast can be connected to a two-way radio. The Hellberg Local 446 and Hellberg Local 2, like the Peltor WS Litecom Plus and Litecom Plus, have an integrated two-way radio. This allows you to communicate directly through your headset on PMR 446 frequencies. Depending on the headset, you have access to either 8 or 16 PMR 446 frequencies with a large number of subchannels.
